ME Society aims to sustainably improve the economic, social and environmental ecosystem of energy vulnerable population and to promote development cooperation in the field of climate change adaptation and mitigation.ME Society fosters the establishment of local expertise and infrastructures to increase the dissemination of clean energy technologies in developing countries, where still more than 1 billion people lack access to a reliable and secure energy supply.

Moreover, with a strong focus on the Global South, ME Society supports and initiates educational programs such as capacity building, training and educational courses for public and private actors, students and citizens.
