05.06.17: The project Clean Energy Promotion through Microfinance in Ethiopia awarded the Energy Globe Award Ethiopia" 
Funded by the Nordic Climate Facility and implemented by Gaia, MicroEnergy International, Swan Management and three Ethiopian Microfinance Institutions, the CEPM project aims at improving the access of low-income households and microenterprises to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy products and services. So far, around 20,000 Ethiopians gained access to the CET product and services. Learn more about the CEPM project on our ME Africa project page.

 

30.06.17: "Energy Entrepreneurship in Developing Countries" course currently hosted at MicroEnergy International

MicroEnergy International is currently hosting a 4-week entrepreneurship course, "Energy Entrepreneurship in Developing Countries" (EEDC), for 20 Masters Students of the Technical University of Berlin. The course is a mix of inspirational lectures about recent innovation trends (Block chain and Open-source technologies, the Circular Economy), innovations in the energy field (SWARM electrification, pay-as-you-go systems) and entrepreneurship classes (Business Model Canvas, Business Plans, Innovative Revenue Models).

05.05.17: SEER4All Lecture Series at the TU Berlin
Starting April 20, ioin the SEER4All Lectures Series every Thursdays between 16:00-18:00, in BN-H 333 Ernst-Reuter-Platz 1, TU Berlin.
The initiative Sustainable Energy Education and Research for All (SEER4ll) at the TU Berlin aims at contributing to the SDG 7 goal by inspiring and further motivating research institutions around the world to innovate through technology and improve know-how transfer.
